Milberger Insurance Agency(“we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect through themilbergeragency.com, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. As an insurance agency, our handling of your information is also governed by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and applicable state insurance-privacy laws, including Nebraska's Insurance Data Security Law.

Information we collect

• Information you give us: your name, contact details, ZIP code, coverage interests, and anything you include in a quote, contact, or appointment request.
• Documents you choose to upload: if you use the declarations-page upload, the documents you submit (which may contain policy and coverage details). Job applicants may submit a résumé.
• Sensitive information for certain applications:if you choose to start an insurance application that requires it, we may collect a driver's license image and, for a life insurance application, a Social Security number and health information. We do not request this information for a standard quote request.
• Consent & audit data: the consents you provide, plus the date, your IP address, and browser/user-agent, kept as a record of your request.
• Technical data: IP address, browser/user-agent, and basic, privacy-respecting analytics used to operate and secure the site.

AI-assisted document review

If you upload your declarations pages, we use a third-party AI service (Anthropic) to read them and prepare a coverage summary for our team. Your documents are processed to provide this service and are not used to train AI models.

How we use your information

• To respond to your quote, contact, or appointment request and call you back.
• To prepare quotes and service the insurance products you request.
• To review job applications you submit.
• To operate, secure, and improve the website.
• To keep records and comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

How we share information

We represent Shelter Insurance® and share your information with Shelter as needed to prepare quotes and service your coverage. We also use trusted service providers that operate this site on our behalf — including website hosting, secure database and file storage, email delivery, bot/spam protection, and the AI document-review service described above — under obligations to protect your information. We also share information when required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

Communications consent (TCPA)

When you submit a request and check the authorization box, you consent to be contacted by phone, text, and email — including by automated means — at the contact information you provide. Consent is not a condition of purchase, and you may opt out at any time by telling us.

How we protect sensitive information

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encryption in transit. Highly sensitive data you submit for an application (such as a Social Security number or health answers) is encrypted at rest, and uploaded files (declarations pages and any driver's license image) are kept in private storage with restricted access. To minimize risk, these sensitive uploads and application records are automatically deleted after about 90 days.

Your privacy choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you may opt out of marketing communications at any time. We honor reasonable requests regardless of the state you live in. Because we do not sell personal information, no opt-out of sale is needed. Data retention

We retain submissions only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law and insurance recordkeeping rules. Sensitive application uploads are purged on the roughly 90-day schedule noted above.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “updated” date above reflects the latest version.
